Must the subfloor be levelled before laying laminate or vinyl?
Yes, a level base is critical for click-lock flooring (no more than 2 mm variation over 2 metres). Otherwise, the joints will quickly break and the floor will start creaking and separating.
Which floor is best: laminate, parquet or vinyl (SPC)?
SPC vinyl is fully water-resistant and ideal for hallways and kitchens. Laminate is practical and affordable for bedrooms and living rooms, while engineered wood is an environmentally friendly natural wood option. We help you choose the best solution.
Who purchases levelling compound and underlay?
You can purchase the final floor covering yourself. We can buy and deliver dry screed mixes, self-levelling compound, underlay and fixings.
